Gathering of Israel
The second gathering of Israel is after the Great Tribulation when the Messiah will Reign as King of Kings. The establishment of the nation of Israel in 1948 is not the second gathering of God’s people.
Rom 9:6 Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel:
Paul makes a clear distinction between Israel of the flesh and the Israel of God.
Romans 11:7 What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded
The second gathering of Israel is at the end of this age
The elect who are in Christ will Inherit Zion. God’s children obtain righteousness through faith in Christ as opposed to the works of the law. The Sons of God trust in God who was manifest in the flesh to take away their sins (1 John 3:1-8; John 1:10-14, Rom 9:30-33).
There is not a single verse in the entire Bible that supports the theory that the modern day state of Israel represents the fulfillment of any prophecy regarding the gathering of Israel.
The original house or tribe of Judah rejected Jesus as the Messiah, and as a result, God gave the Christian church the birthright privileges that was once assigned to them. No longer was the tribe of Judah after the flesh to be considered as a special people with a prophetic destiny.
Mark 12:7 But those husbandmen said among themselves, This is the heir; come, let us kill him, and the inheritance shall be ours.
Christ announced the verdict of an irrevocable judgment on Jerusalem and the false house of Judah, when He declared “behold, your house is left unto you desolate” (Matt 23:37-38).
Matt 23:35 That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar
The everlasting covenant made to Israel of the flesh had very clear conditions. Without faithfulness and obedience, the promises were made void. The blessing contained in Deuteronomy chapter twenty-eight are listed in the first thirteen verses. However, the curses for failing to fulfill their part of the contract are listed in the next fifty-five verses.
Deut 28:63 And it shall come to pass, that as the LORD rejoiced over you to do you good, and to multiply you; so the LORD will rejoice over you to destroy you, and to bring you to nought; and ye shall be plucked from off the land whither thou goest to possess it.
The repercussions for disobeying God mentioned in the scriptures have been somewhat fulfilled several times in Israel’s history. However, these curses are perpetual and the final fulfillment of this judgment has yet to occur. Without the understanding of the identity of the great whore, most fail to grasp the significance of the end time prophecies dealing with this harlot.
Rev 17:16-17 And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the (great) whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire. For God hath put in their hearts to fulfil his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled.
There are those who state that the modern state of Israel has no prophetic significance, but the opposite is true.
Rev 2:9 I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.
The completion of God’s wrath on those who falsely claim to be the elect and the house of Judah occurs as a result of the great tribulation. The Identity of The Great Whore, the judgment of the great whore and He shall confirm the covenant with many, are a few of the resources that will help the reader understand these judgments.
Rev 17:16-17 And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the (great) whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire. For God hath put in their hearts to fulfill his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled.
The antichrist will set up his palace in the holy mountain, which is in Jerusalem. During the time of the Great Tribulation, Jerusalem is referred to spiritually, as Sodom and Egypt (Dan 11:45, Rev 11:8).
Israel or the ten northern tribes was given a bill of divorcement; as a result of this God allowed the Assyrians to conquer and then remove them from the land they once possessed. After this event, Israel simply ceased to exist, and that left the two tribes of Judah and Benjamin.
Jer 3:8 And I saw, when for all the causes whereby backsliding Israel committed adultery I had put her away, and given her a bill of divorce; yet her treacherous sister Judah feared not, but went and played the harlot also.
A little over a century after the Assyrians destroyed Israel, Judah was conquered by the Babylonians. Some decades later the tribe of Judah was permitted to return to Jerusalem but they would never have another king or true sovereignty. During the time of the Roman occupation of Judea Christ declared this last tribe of Israel to be desolate. Jerusalem would never be called holy again until the Lord Jesus returned to reign with His chosen people (Isa 51:11, 65:15-25, Joel 3:14-17, Mat 13:41-43).
The scribes and Pharisees who were full of hypocrisy and iniquity hated Christ without a cause (John 15:25). They also conspired to have Christ put to death by bearing false witness against Him. These murderers like their fathers before them were of their father the Devil (Math 23: 13-38, John 8:44).
As a result of playing the whore, these people that claimed to be of the house of Judah had turned the place where God once dwelled, into a den of thieves (Mat 21:13). Jerusalem, like Israel, was now declared desolate (Math 23:38; Luke 13:35).
The modern day nation of Israel is an imposter and has used deceit, murder, and treachery to create a nation for themselves. They claim to be the chosen ones and rightful heirs of the promised land, but nothing could be further from the truth.
The religion of Judaism has an emphasis on the oral tradition of their rabbis, and this tradition supersedes the Old Testament itself.
Mark 7:9 And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.
One thing the Judeo-Christian religions do share is that they have made the word of God of none effect, through their traditions (Mark 7:13).
Mark 7:7 Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
The majority that practice the religion known as Judaism, really subscribes to the dictates of Babylonian Talmudism. They are taught through the teachings of this incredibly wicked literature to hate Christ and Christians. How is it then that Christians can claim that America was founded upon Judeo-Christian values?
Christ will establish righteousness and restore the former glory of His creation. The kingdoms of this world will come under the Lordship of our Messiah, and the redeemed in Christ shall see their redemption.
The gathering of Israel represents all covenant believers
The Israel of God represents a spiritual identity that is based on faithfulness in the Messiah. Without Christ, the physical descendants of Israel, including Judah and all modern day Jewish people who claim to be of this lineage, are not partakers of the promise.
Gal 3:29 And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.
It was not simply a matter of birth wherein one could be counted as being Abraham’s seed, otherwise, Ishmael would also be included.
Gal 4:28-29 Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise. But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, even so it is now.
The prophetic implications of this verse are truly incredible, as those who are without the spirit of truth persecute and hate the true Israel of God even today.
The identity of the true Israel of God has been hijacked by imposters whose claim to the inheritance is baseless without Christ.
Matt 21:38 But when the husbandmen saw the son, they said among themselves, This is the heir; come, let us kill him, and let us seize on his inheritance.
All nations, both past, and present, that have the same faith as Abraham can be justified through faithfulness unto God (Gal 3:6-9).
Romans 11:26-27 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob: For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.
The promise that all of Israel will be saved is made to the faithful followers of the Lord Jesus Christ. This represents those who were under the old covenant as well as the new covenant believers.
Romans 11:26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:
The Redeemed in Christ will be saved; the all refers to all of a type, namely the faithful and obedient that walk with Christ; He is the only way, the absolute truth, and in him we can have eternal life (John 3:15; 1 John 2:22-29).
Those who were alienated from the commonwealth of Israel and the covenant promises, are brought near through the blood of Christ (Eph 2:11-13).
There is no longer two covenants or two separate groups of people. The old law and ordinances no longer are in force, and any man who claims to be justified by the old law is fallen from grace (Eph 2:14-19, Gal 5:4).
Gal 5:6 For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.
It is only through the redemptive power of the Blood of Christ that we can have the hope of salvation. No man is justified by the works of the old law. We are dead to the law of sin and death through the body of Christ, and our justification can only come through faith in Him who lives in us. (Rom 7:4; 8:1-6; Gal 2:16-21).
Rom 4:14 For if they which are of the law be heirs, faith is made void, and the promise made of none effect:
Furthermore, all who are transformed by the renewing of their minds in Christ are a new creation and are the Israel of God (Gal 6:15-16; Rom 12:2; 2 Cor 5:17).
The promise was made to Abraham the father of all who have a like faith, and to his seed Christ Jesus. All believers in Him, are of that seed (Rev 12:17; Gal 3:16).
The second gathering of Israel is unto Salvation, after the Son of man returns a second time with great Power and Glory (Mark 13:26, Isa 11:11).
- Woe to those who have scattered the sheep of His pasture, His flock (Jer 23:1).
- Christ our Shepherd, will gather the remnant of His flock that are scattered throughout the nations, and His name is THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS (Jer 23:3, 6, 8).
Isaiah 11:11 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people…
The second gathering of Israel represents those who have accepted the cleansing power of the shed blood of Christ, and worship Him in Spirit and in Truth.
Gal 1:9 As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.
Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us, describes several attributes of those who will receive Christ’s Blessings at the gathering of Israel :
- Blessed are the meek, (not the proud) for they will inherit the earth (Matt 5:5).
- Blessed are those which are persecuted for the name of Christ for theirs is the kingdom of heaven (Matt 5:10; Rev 20:4).
- Those who hear and understand the Word of the Kingdom through the Spirit will not have that Word taken away by the enemy (Mat 13:19).
- We must be converted and become like children if we are to enter into the Kingdom (Mat 18:3).
The children of God depend on Him for everything including:
- Direction and guidance in all things-The Sealing or Baptism in the Holy Spirit (John 16:13).
- Protection- Truth, Righteousness, The Gospel of Peace, Faith, The Hope of Salvation and the Word of God (Eph 6:11-16).
- Food-The True Gospel of Jesus Christ (John 8:32).
- Love-We love Him because He first loved us (John 15:9; John 14:21; John 15:12-13).
The gathering of Israel and the promised land
The Judaic and Judeo-Christian affirmation that the land of Israel is as an everlasting possession for the Jewish people is simply deceitful (Gen 17:7-8, 26:3-5).
The covenant promise of the faithful was made to Abraham and to his seed Christ Jesus; we are all as believers in Him, of that seed (Rev 12:17; Gal 3:19-25).
Gal 3:16 Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, and to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.
Possession of the promised land was and still is conditional to obeying the covenant. Christ confirmed or established the covenant, and He also was the reason why the the sacrifices and oblations ceased as He was the final sacrifice for sins (Rom 11:27, Heb 8:6-13, Dan 9:27) This is the everlasting covenant (Heb 13:20).
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life
Those who were under the old testament covenant required both a temple a priesthood and a sacrificial system. Todays Judaic believers have none of these. Apart from the shed blood of Christ, these people have no covering for their sins.
No man can be justified by the works of the law, the only justification is through faith in Christ (Gal 2:16).
John 8:56 Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad.
Abraham’s savior was Jesus Christ, and all of the old testaments saints who were under the first covenant will be justified through Him as well.
Gal 3:23-25 But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed. Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster
The Judeo-Christian recognition of the imposter nation of Israel represents iniquity deceit and collusion with the enemy of true Christianity.
Gal 3:28-29 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.
I know thy works, and tribulation and poverty, (but thou art rich in Christ) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are (of the house or tribe of Judah) and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan (Rev 2:9 -Emphasis added).
Salvation is of the jews, has got to be one of the most ludicrous statements ever uttered; as well it is purely deceitful and nonsensical.
1 Thess 5:9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ
To start with the word jew, is a slang word not truly found anywhere in the true word of God. Click here to access the article that will explain this aberration.
Rev 5:5 And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.
Jesus is referred to as the lion of the tribe of Judah, but He was not Jewish and He most certainly did not practice or condone Judaism or the religion of the scribes and pharisees.
Heb 7:14 For it is evident that our Lord sprang out of Judah; of which tribe Moses spake nothing concerning priesthood.
Jesus was born in Bethlehem, in the land of Judah. So it can be said that our savior came out of, or was from Judah in the flesh (Matt 2:6, John 1:31, 1 Tim 3:16)
The Second Gathering Of Israel – and mine elect shall inherit it
Isaiah 65:9 And I will bring forth a seed out of Jacob, and out of Judah an inheritor of my mountains: and mine elect shall inherit it, and my servants shall dwell there.
The promise was made to Abraham and His seed, which is Christ Jesus. The second gathering of Israel is when Christ will rejoice with His chosen ones, that have His Spirit of truth. All that share in the righteousness of the faith of Abraham, are the seed that Christ brings forth unto His inheritance. This includes the old testament believers in Christ, that have waited for this day wherein they receive resurrected, immortal and incorruptible bodies.
Christ will send forth his angels, and they will gather out of his kingdom all things that are an offence, and all those that practice iniquity.
John 12:25 He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.
These idolaters will be cast into a furnace of fire, where there will be wailing and gnashing of teeth. But those who are of the second gathering of Israel, the righteous, will shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father (Matt 13:41-43).
