Christian Salvation Bible verse
A well known Christian Salvation Bible verse is, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you shall be saved (Acts 16:31). The Spirit of Christ in us produces love, joy and faith; the end result of our faith is the salvation of our souls (1 Peter 1:9, Gal 5:22).
Christ spoke plainly when He said that unless you believe and are baptized you shall not be saved. He did not say you are saved, but you shall be saved.
Mark 16:16 He that believeth and is baptized (with the Holy Spirit) shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. Emphasis added
The Baptism performed by John was unto repentance, but the Baptism of the Holy Spirit is unto Salvation (Luke 3:16).
Every Christian Salvation Bible verse, always is in reference to a future occurrence.
Only upon Christ’s return to earth can this redemptive process known as Salvation take place.
2 Thes 2:13 But we are bound to give thanks always to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you unto salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth.
The teaching of Jesus, that those who endure unto the end, are the ones that shall be saved, is a concise Christian Salvation Bible verse (Matt 24:13).
Holiness and the belief of the truth, are the result of the Holy Spirit that dwells within us. This is Christ’s down payment of his purchased possession unto Salvation (2 Cor 1:22, Eph 1:14).
The following Christian Salvation Bible verse, declares what we are saved from.
Romans 5:9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
The great tribulation is not the wrath of the Lamb. God’s wrath is the separation of the righteous from the sinners for all of eternity (Isa 13:9, Math 25:41, Rev 11:18).
1 Peter 1:5 These are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
God has not appointed us to wrath, as we are to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ (1 Thess 5:9).
The gospel of Christ is the power of God unto Salvation (Rom 1:16).
James 1:21 Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.
At the judgment of God, if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear? This end of days Christian Salvation Bible verse, is indeed sobering (1 Peter 4:18).
1 Cor 1:18 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.
The Christian Salvation Bible verse above actually is in reference to those that shall be saved. Likewise, to those that shall perish, the preaching of the cross seems absurd.
Everyone must have a solid foundation that is built upon Jesus Christ. Our faith in Christ will be tried in much the same way as our works, which must be unto the Lord. The end result of a real faith is the reward of eternal life (1 Cor 3:11-14, 1 Tim 6:12, John 3:21).
1 Peter 1:7 That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:
In the Old Testament a single Christian Salvation Bible verse about hope stands out.
Lam 3:26 It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD.
The hope of Salvation allows the faithful to endure all things for Christ’s sake (Mat 10:22, 10:39, 19:29, 24:9).
Gal 5:5 For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith.
Two pieces of defensive armor for Christians, include the breastplate of faith, and the helmet which is the hope of our salvation (1 Thess 5:8, Eph 6:17).
1 Pet 3:15 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear.
We can not hope for something that we claim to already possess (Romans 8:23-25).
This Christian Salvation Bible verse sums it up well. The gospel of Christ is the power of God unto salvation (Rom 1:16).
